Amend the following rule:

553. Creepage
Once in each turn players may choose to move the position of one of their spaces on the mappa. They may only move the squares if the following conditions are met.

I: The Destination Square is adjacent to one of the players mappa spaces.

II: The Destination Square is adjacent to the Original Square.

III: The Destination Square is unowned.

IV: The Squares movement may not break the adjacency of an owned group of mappa spaces.

Squares that contain Mappa Items leave them behind unless explicitly stated by the rules.

( 20030504: enacted [553] by Piglet)

Amend the following rule:

222. Winner by Inconsistency
If a player believes that the rules are such that further play is impossible, or that the legality of a move cannot be determined with finality, or that a move appears equally legal and illegal, then the player may submit a Request for Judgment to that effect. If the resulting judgment is TRUE, then the player who invoked judgment shall be declared the winner of that game. This rule takes precedence over every other rule determining the winner of the game.
(20020908: initial [222])

To read:

If a player believes that the rules are such that further play is impossible, or that the legality of a move cannot be determined with finality, or that a move appears equally legal and illegal, then the player may submit a Request for Judgment to that effect.

If the resulting judgment is TRUE, then the player who invoked judgment shall be declared the winner of that game three days after the return of the TRUE judgment, provided it is not under appeal.

This rule takes precedence over every other rule determining the winner of the game.

Once every four turns, all players who have acted neither as a Judge nor a Justice, nor participated in a Tug of War, since the last Monkey Knife Fight (or since the institution of this rule, whichever is more recent) shall be entered into a Monkey Knife Fight.

A Monkey Knife Fight (referred to henceforth in this rule as an MKF) is a subgame in which each player engaged in the MKF selects one of four possible moves: Sit There, Suicide, Screech, or Stab. If a player does not enter a move, the default move is Sit There. The MKF is over after one round of such moves.

All players who Sit There and are not targeted by any Stabs get 6 points.

Any player who Suicides and is not Stabbed by anyone takes a penalty of 7 points. When a Suiciding player is Stabbed, however, the Stab penalty is prevented, the Stabbing player loses 5 points instead of getting their Stabbing bonus, and the Suiciding player gains 4 points instead of the Suicide penalty. (This bonus occurs only once per Suicide, e.g. it does not accumulate if multiple players Stab the Suiciding player.)

If a player plays a Screech and was the only player to do so in the current MKF, that player gains 6 points, any players Stabbing that player lose 2 points instead of gaining the Stab bonus, and the Stab penalty is prevented. If more than one player in the round plays a Screech, all Screechers each lose 3 points and Stabs at them are played as normal.

Stabs are directed at one other player engaged in the current MKF. If a player is Stabbed and that player did not play a Suicide (nor successfully play a Screech), the player who Stabbed that player gets a 7-point bonus. If more than one player Stabbed that player, each Stabber gets a 4-point bonus.

Players who are successfully Stabbed take a 3-point penalty. This penalty is also not cumulative - multiple Stabs result in only one penalty for the victim.

This rule takes precedence over all other rules concerning Monkey Knife Fights.

Party Leaders may submit to their Political Party and the Administrator a Party Position on any number of Proposals and Referenda. These positions represent the Vote that the Party Leader expects each Party Member to submit on the specified Proposal.

For each Vote by a Party Member in accord with their Party Position, the Party Funds of their Political Party shall increase by 2 Points.
For each vote by a Party Member that is not in accord with their Party Position, the Party Funds of their Political Party shall lose 2 Points.

Where the results of Voting on a Proposal or Referendum match a Party Position, the Party Funds of the associated Political Party shall increase by 1 Point.
Where the results of Voting on a Proposal or Referendum do not match a Party Position, the Party Leader of the associated Political Party shall lose 1 Point.

Rules may have keywords associated with them. In order to maintain the current state of keywords, players may submit the following types of Referendums:

1. Keyword Refresh: this type of referendum should specify the keyword and list any number of current rules to add the keyword to and/or remove the keyword from.

2. Keyword Rule Refresh: this type of referendum should specify the rule number and any keywords to add and/or remove from the current rule.

If the referendum passes, the keywords are applied and the sponsor of the referendum earns 4 points. If two or more referendums conflict during a turn by editing the same keyword or rule, the earliest submitted referendum takes precedence, and any others are ignored.

When a player submits a rule change proposal, they may indicate the keyword list for the changed rule. If the proposal is adopted, so is the keyword list. If no keyword list is specified for an amended rule, the new rule takes on the prior rule's keyword list.

The creation of a keyword shall be implied in any of the above situations when the keyword doesn't already exist.
